Koala Rescue Redlands & Surrounds Inc. is a volunteer organisation dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and protecting koalas in the Redlands region. We cannot do this without community support. There are several ways you can help us continue this vital work.
Donate
Your donation goes directly to supporting rescue and rehabilitation efforts. Funds are used to purchase and maintain rescue gear, drones, volunteer training, fuel, insurance, and community education resources.
It’s important to know that donations do not cover veterinary treatment — these costs are managed by specialist wildlife hospitals. Your support ensures our team has the tools, training, and resources needed to reach koalas quickly and safely.

Volunteer
Our volunteers are the heart of Koala Rescue Redlands. Whether you can commit to fieldwork, help from home, or support community engagement, there’s a place for you.
Volunteer opportunities include:
Assisting with field rescues
Answering calls on our rescue hotline
Supporting fundraising stalls and community events
Helping with administration, social media, and education
Every role is vital and training is provided.
Sponsor or Partner
We welcome partnerships with local businesses and organisations. Becoming a sponsor or partner is a practical way to give back to the community, support wildlife, and demonstrate environmental responsibility.
In return, we acknowledge supporters through recognition on our website, social media, and at community events. Opportunities also exist to collaborate on joint events and promotions.
Report a Koala
The most immediate way you can help is by reporting koalas in need. If you see a sick, injured, or displaced koala:
Call our 24/7 rescue hotline immediately on 0435 504 222
Stay with the koala if it is safe to do so
Keep dogs and people away
Provide an exact location and a description of behaviour or injuries
Quick action from the public often saves lives.
