Serving Redlands & Surrounds
Koala Rescue Redlands & Surrounds Inc. is proud to serve the Redlands Coast and neighbouring communities. Our volunteers live locally, understand the unique challenges koalas face here, and are dedicated to protecting them day and night.
Our Service Area
We respond to calls across the Redlands and surrounding areas, including:
Residential suburbs where koalas often encounter cars, dogs, and people.
Bushland and conservation areas that provide critical food trees and habitat corridors.
Roads and highways where koalas are at high risk of vehicle strikes.
Private properties where koalas may need assistance or safe passage.
Wherever a koala is in trouble, we will respond.
What We Do
Our work in the region includes:
24/7 Rescue Hotline – Providing immediate support for sick, injured, or displaced koalas.
Rescue & Rehabilitation – Attending rescues, transporting koalas safely, and supporting their recovery.
Community Education – Helping residents understand how to live alongside koalas and protect their habitat.
Habitat Protection – Supporting local efforts to safeguard trees and wildlife corridors.
Local Knowledge, Local Action
Because our team is based in the Redlands, we know the local koala hotspots and danger zones. This means we can respond quickly and work with the community to reduce risks.
We also collaborate with local councils, schools, and conservation groups to create lasting change for koalas in our area.
