Jennifer Louw
Jen is the President of Koala Rescue Redlands & Surrounds and has over six years of hands-on experience in wildlife rescue, including koalas. With a year of professional capture work, she brings specialist skills as both a qualified tree climber and the organisation’s chief drone pilot, using thermal drone technology to locate and save koalas. Fiercely dedicated and a little bit koala-obsessed, Jen is deeply committed to protecting these endangered icons and the habitats they call home.

Lucia Modlin
For over seven years, I’ve been rescuing and helping release injured and orphaned wildlife across Redlands and surrounding areas. This journey has been completely volunteer-driven, but it’s a passion that runs deep in everything I do.
I am a member of the Queensland Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (QWRC), and I volunteer my time with Koala Rescue Redlands & Surrounds Inc.
Over the years, I’ve completed training to ensure I can give our wildlife the best possible chance, including Advanced First Aid for Wildlife, Advanced Wildlife Rescue, and specialist training in native birds (including native ducks), possums (brushtail and ringtail), macropods (wallabies, kangaroos, etc.), and marsupials (koalas).
Every call-out is different, and every animal deserves compassion, care, and respect.
My goal is always the same – to give these beautiful creatures a second chance at life in the wild.
